Assuming you will be gaming - you would be MUCH better off going with a new Sandy Bridge processor. An i7 2600k, P67 motherboard, and 8gb of Dominator RAM. Even the i5-2500k beats the i7 960 by quite a bit (if you want to save a few bucks).
