why are you suggest him core 2 quad series.think how many bucks he/she have what do you think that dual-core and core2duo is bad cpu's core 2 duo is excellent for gamming i used it in my older system that is e8400 and i run my games in higher setting so suggest e8400,e8500,e8600 these are the good models especially e8400

yes, if u buy a new processor, both performance and cost are not worth for a 775 cpu.
also now, new core2 cpu are probably not available. so dual core is just option.
but if u r not stick to 775, choose i3 as budget or get sandybridge Pentium for even more budget.
