Resolution problem on Monitor and TV

Hi, This is my new PC and I have hooked my 1080 HDTV to it as an secondary monitor to stream movies online. When I stream a blueray quality movie and watch it on either my monitor or my HDTV, I will see the resolution being a tiny bit pixelatted. However, this didn't happen on my old computer, everything was crystal clear (not exactly at blueray quality but very close). Can someone help me solve this problem? My video card is ATI Radeon HD 5670.

Thanks

Could it be because I've set my resolution to 1920x1080 (recommended) for both of my monitor and TV? My older monitor didn't support 1920x1080 so I've set lower and maybe this is why I didn't have this problem when I had my older PC?

Edit: I played lowered my resolution on my Monitor and still the same.

what resolution movie are you streaming? is it really 1080p? maybe its a lower resolution video and that's why you see pixellation.

I have no idea if it's 1080 but it used to look very sharp and now a little pixelated.
