More about recommended cheap good system
  1. I would go for a Corsair - one of the system builder range, good value and reliable
  2. This is the best psu you can get for the money.

5 yr warranty, built by Seasonic.

This one is slightly cheaper, but not as efficient.

  4. So you don't think you'll ever upgrade to Ivy Bridge cpu?

Do you have a video card?
  5. hd 6850 but if the ivy bridge proves its worth, i might be changing my mind
  6. Yeah it helps to mention you have a gpu when asking for power supply advice.

The 400w would be fine, but if you upgrade ANYTHING, you'll need to buy another power supply.
