Hello, I plan on buying this motherboard that is linked below.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

The motherboard lists a variety of possible memory that can be used such as: DDR3 2200(O.C.) / 2133(O.C.) / 1866(O.C.) / 1600 / 1333 / 1066.

I would like to get 2133 or do I need to just get 1600 RAM. I want to buy Corsair RAM (16 GB).

Thank you!

What CPU are you putting in it?

And basically what it is saying is that you will have to adjust the base or reference clock to get those speeds.

Nice CPU, you can use 2133 RAM, you will have to manually set it to that speed in the BIOS.
