SO i purchased a Gigabyte Radeon 6970 found here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125355&cm_re=6970-_-14-125-355-_-Product
I currently have a setup with 3 monitors running 1920x1080 each in eyefinity with an overall resolution of 5760x1080.
All three monitors are hooked up through the DVI connection. here is the monitor I am using as well as the active display port adapter:
Monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824160047&Tpk=2236vw
Adapter: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814999034&cm_re=active_display_port_to_dvi-_-14-999-034-_-Product
I am blown away at the overall performance, I can run crysis 2 in eyefinity at the extreme setting with no real problems.
My issue is that in any game or even videos on you tube I get a horizontal bar running from the top of the monitor to the bottom. It is a small problem but none the less an issue. It seems to only happen on the DVI monitors but could be happening on the one with the adapter as well and I am just missing it. I have found plenty of people with the issue but no solutions. Does anyone have any insight to this problem?
I have tried enabling vsync in games and it does not seem to solve my issue. Maybe there is a catalyst option? any help would be greatly appreciated.
