Enabling ethernet on new m.board

Last response: in Motherboards

Hi guys,
I've just installed a new m.board (see sig). This replaced a similar - M4A78 - board.

My problem is that I can't log on to the internet now. I assumed all the needed info for that was on the hdd.

A friend suggested 'enabling ethernet' in BIOS. I also saw on these pages that someone did similar,,,,,,, but I can't find it in BIOS.

I've also looked in c.panel > network etc, but am getting nowhere.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please ?

many thanks

If I have your question right, the Home Hub 3 is connected to the m.board via the Ethernet port & cable.

it be under onboard drvices/chipset. you also need to download form another pc the network driver for that mb and install it before the mb will be able to log into the internet.
