btw im running on a i5-2300 which i plan to keep so any suggestions for a intel board IF i do upgrade?

Solution
you waste your money unless you where getting an overclock cpu. any new mb with the same cpu going to run just as fast as the old mb. if the mb and cpu are fine leave them alone. spend your money on a good case and power supply and a ssd.

Thank you for that I was getting worried I had to spend <$100 on a new motherboard.
