ASUS UEFI & XMP memory glitch?

I suppose this applies to any ASUS mobo with UEFI bios, so I have Corsair Vengeance 8gb of LP 1600 ram 1.35v low voltage version and mobo defaults it to 1333 so I select XMP profile and hit save and when I go back into UEFI to check the change it's still at 1333 and voltage at 1.5v on auto setting, is this a glitch of the bios? I have the latest bios, so do I have to set the settings manually?

What Kit, MOBO, DIMM Slots, and CPU?

You also have to 'Save' the BIOS changes; typically F10 and Save = Yes.
