[Solved] Finding article on a third-party sli/crossfire developer

Hello, I have been asked by a friend of any possibility to use an AMD and Nvidia card in a single rig. I recalled reading an article posted around an year ago on tom's hardware about a third-party development that not only allows such usage of graphic cards but also allows customization of which loads each card would take in order to maximize individual card strengths. Unfortuantely, I don't remember the name of the company and googling didn't turn up anything useful. Does anyone know which article or company I am referring to? Please link me the tom's hardware article if you do. Thank you!
