Which Heatsink? :O

i got a mid tower Gigabyte X2 chassis Dimension 478x185x410mm my heatsink is acting pretty weird when i boot up....cpu temp goes upto 50 according to hw monitor and then the fan speed increases to 5000 rpm then the temp goes down to 41-42...so i am gonna buy two 120mm fans and a heatsink but i dont knw which is best , that will fit in my case and affordable

I love the Scythe Ninja 3, huge bleedin' heatsink for less than 40€. My Phenom II idles at 2deg above ambient :lol:

Mine's a lowly X2 555 OC to 4.2 GHz. Yeah, it's an awesome heatsink. It's not rocket science, more mass and more surface area will let you absorb more heat and radiate more heat, respectively.

will it fit in my case?

It's 120 x 120 x 160mm so it should.

Oh yeah maximum temps under Prime are about 45 at 27C room temp.
