hi, i need a bit of advice on what to set my custom size virtual memory for best performance.
I have 3-512mb ddr1-pc3200 all at 400mhz.
Windows recommends 2302mb so what should i set maximum size to.
Thank you in advance for your reply.

Virtual memory won't get you a noticeable increase in performance. You may notice a very slight change in benchmarks but in real applications it's useless

windows does a fine enough job managing the swap file itself. with the amount for RAM you have, it will not increase the performance setting a custom size; it may even make boot up slower.

but if you insist 1.5 times the amount of RAM like it suggests is good. remember 1024=1 Mb.
