Need advice 6970 compatability

I'm looking to upgrade my GPU and power supply. I was suggested a Radeon 6970 w/ a Corsair 650 W. This is my current computer. On the GPU's page it states it is a double profile. Does this mean it takes two PCI Express 2.0 x16 slots? Because, if so, that wouldn't fit in my computer.

Also would the 2.7 GHz processor limit the GPU?

I probably need another 92mm fan too correct?

I game at 1920 x 1080, if that helps. Forgot to add that. It should run high end games well. 60 FPS, high settings, Crysis 2 would be awesome.
