Hi, I'm new here, Just joined, I like the site, it's very useful, and I got an question for you.

I've long been thinking about changing my AMD built to Intel, the question is, is it worth it?
My current rig is this below

Mobo: Asus Crosshair IV Formula AM3
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4Ghz
GPU: X2 XFX 5850 in crossfire
RAM: 4GB PC3-12800 Mushkin Enchanced
PSU: Corsair TX750W (Won't change this)

Those are the main parts I want to change to a new Intel rig, shown below.

Mobo: ASUS P8P67 PRO
CPU: Intel Core™ i5 Quad Processor i5-2500K
GPU: X2 XFX Radeon HD 6950 2GB (Planning to unlock them)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance™ DDR3 1600MHz 8GB CL8 Kit w/2x4GB

Going to change my ASUS VW222U to BenQ 23,6" LED XL2410T :)

I'm open to suggestions!

Nope.

You are quite well-positioned on the upgrade path.

You might want to hold off on your video upgrade -- AMD’s 28nm Southern Islands is on the horizon, quite possibly before the end of the year.

It's interesting how the new 7XXX-series could possibly coincide with Bulldozer.
