I was wondering if it would be worth it to upgrade to a gtx 590 from two 470s in sli. Ive searched everywhere for a comparison and cant find one.
Im running an intel 2600k at 4.2 cooled by a h50 with 8gigs gskill ,900 watt ps on a msi board (p67a-gd65) in an antec 300.This will be for gaming at 1920x1080 on a 27" monitor. Thanks in advance for your help:)

Not worth it IMO. Here are two reviews from guru3d you can use to compare performance;

At stock the GTX 590 is on average about 20-25% faster at 1920x1200 but the only game where SLIed GTX 470s can't get up to 60 frames per second is Metro 2033. Most monitors can't even display more than 60 frames per second. Another thing to keep in mind is that your GTX 470s can overclock very well which would narrow the gap considerably while OCing a GTX 590 is extremely risky.
Basically if your resolution is above 1920 x 1200 then it could make some sense if you have a lot of money to spend. Otherwise I would wait until...
