I5-3570k motherboard

Hello everyone, after countless hours of research I have decided to get the 3570k. Before I was hell bent on getting an intel motherboard but now I'm open to any suggestions. Micro center currently has a processor+motherboard deal. (you get 50 off of the motherboard)

And get the RAM like this, unless u have already ....

I recommend CORSAIR Vengeance 99% of the time, quality RAM and low profile with XMP profile. And if u will get an aftermarket CPU cooler, low profile is the worry free remedy with perfect fit with any large cooler.
    CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

Vengeance Low Profile heat spreaders have a reduced height of 1.03" (26.25mm). They're designed for high-performance systems with extra-large CPU coolers, small form factor system builds, or any other space-constrained application where standard Vengeance memory might not fit.
  3. i have a question, can i get a mother board that supports the 2500k and the 3570k?
  4. All 3 u have listed support's it.

    The 1155 is compatible with Z68, Z77, Z75, P67 ....

LGA 1155, also called Socket H2, is an Intel microprocessor compatible socket which supports Intel Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge microprocessors.
  5. ah OK i read somewhere about that feature I just didn't know all boards could do it.

there is a link to all the the motherboards, i haven't had the time to review them all but ill do it first thing tomorrow.
  6. All that is a socket 1155, will work.
  7. But, if u are thinking about the 2500K,

than u don't get the discounts that are with the 3570K combo.
  8. oh no i was thinking about the 2500k because of a future experiment and didn't want to buy another mobo. yea from that list I want to get the best bang for the buck. im still getting the 3570k with the discount on the motherboard.

  10. So many choices...

I'm thinking about purchasing the P8Z77-V or Pro with my i5 3750k Combo @ MicroCenter.

Although being on a budget the cheaper mobo's are tempting... Are you planning to go SLI at anytime? A lot of the mobo's don't support SLI...
  11. nope, i will never overclock, have 10 video cards, 2000 displays, require 30 expansion slots, nothing like that. i would be fine with a matx board and probably even the i5 3450 but because of the great deal going on with micro center right now i could get better parts for like 30-40 bucks more.
