My new build is powering off and restarting when i play games. Temps are 25c-60c under load. Restarts even playing mafia at 800x600 with all settings turned low. One time it restarted twice back to back before even loading windows xp. So far Ive ran memtest and my ram passed. Just got my New Video card in today and it made no difference in the shutdowns. My 630 watt psu should be more than enough to power my rig. Quite frankly, its making me feel physically ill. :(

Heres my build:
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz
ASUS M4A79XTD EVO AM3 AMD 790X ATX AMD Motherboard
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
Rosewill Green Series RG630-S12 630W Continuous @40°C,80 PLUS Certified, Single 12V Rail
Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200 RPM SATA
EVGA 01G-P3-1560-KR GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5
antec 300 case

old video card i was using before was xfx 8600 gt

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Well, its 2:00 in the morning. And i figured out the solution. I had to set the ram to 1333 on the motherboard. The board supports 1600, so im not sure why i had to set it to 1333 to be stable.

I am relieved...

If anybody knows how to set it to 1600-1800 and functioning properly on this board, please let me know. thanks.
