I am using the ASUS P7P55D motherboard. I have the Corsair XMS 1600 Mhz $ GB (2x2 GB) modules presently. I want to expand my RAM now and cant find the 2x2 GB modules. can I use 4GB (4x1) instead on the third and fourth slot when the first and second slots sltill have the 2GB modules each? Will this cause any damage/hurdles. Thanks

would probably work

but if its dual channel motherboard then should ideally be 4 x 2gb modules or 2 x 4gb for 8gb
