HP m7160 hard disk to motherboard

Hello, I had my computer in shop for months. It went in sleep mode and could not be revived.Tech says too much time to repair. Thought I'd give it a try but know nothing. For instance does the SATA drive only connect to the motherboard with a small red connector and I see 4 connectors. How do I know which one is correct?

it should say on your motherboard next to the connectors (sata 1, sata2) but my advise if you dont know anything about computers dont touch it. find a different computer shop or someone who knows how to work with that stuff. GROUND YOURSELF!! before you touch anything in your pc (touch comp case or doorknob)
