Msi p45 platinum motherboard

hello

I have a p45 platinum from MSI

it get power red led comes on but will not power up to spin fans or anything. what i did to test it, I pulled the power cable from the power supply that supplies power to the cpu on the board and all fans and leds turn on even the powe supply fan comes on.but when I reconnect the cable it will not pwer thw fans or any thing it wants to it flashes leds for a second and nothing.

dose any one have a answer to what might be the problem.

is there any electronic expert.I do a little electronics like build kits and some repair

Hi, first thing is get memory out of the motherboard and try to boot, if you get beeps, your have bad ram.

If not, probalby bad psu / cpu or damaged motherboard.

If you can test with another psu, it would leave you with cpu/mobo problems
