Ivy-Bridge/Z77 Memory Voltage 1.65V?

Hi,
I just purchased computer parts and I got this motherboard:

And this RAM:

As you can see the RAM is 1.65V, however from what I just read on many websites, apparently, 1.65V is harmful to Ivy Bridge or is not compatable? Any truth to this, because I only saw forums on this subject, not official articles. On my 1366 X58 motherboard, I've been running 1.65V ram for 3 years now with zero issues.

If it is not compatible, do I need to return the ram or can I just down clock timings and voltage, or does the motherboard throttle it automatically?

not an expert but im in the process of picking out RAM right now actually for my new asus z77 board and 3570k and from everything i read you should be using 1.5 no higher..tech you could clock it down but id go for 1.5..whats wrong with this RAM http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231445

I like G.Skill. I will probably cancel my order and get Mushkin Blacklines at 1.5V with 1600Mhz and CL9.

And I saw on Intels website about 1.5V recommendation. Very strange haha. Good thing I found out though, did not want any issues.
