Hello,

I have this PSU for a budget build:
Antec Basiq BP350 350W ATX12V v2.01 Power Supply

The PSU has a 20 pin connector, but also has the 4 other pins separated on the same wire bundle

The mobo manual says its accepts 20 pins connector and to plug the 20 pin into the 1 & 13 keys. I'm just wondering about the 4 extra pins that are suppose to make up the rest of the 24? I can't even plug them into the 4 remaining holes because 4 pin peiece has plastic "ledges" that run into the top 2 pins of the 20, so I can't even plug the 4 in.

Do I need an adapter, or is it good with just the 20 pin. The build is a low cost office PC with no graphics card.

Thanks!

the 4 seperate ones do make up the 24 , could you tell me more , maybe even a picture of the plastic ledges that block the other 4 pins? also what is the motherboard?

After looking at it again I found out that the "ledges" actually slot over the 20 pin connector, snug to make a complete 24(2nd pic). A "duh" moment for me.

I'm assuming it its done for older boards that wouldn't have a 24 pin connection so you could leave the extra 4 hanging loose.

So, i'm assuming its good to go plugging in all 24.
