My computer for some reason won't display anything on my screen. It will turn on and all my system components will work but my screen won't. I get a continuous black screen and nothing comes up. Not even my BIOS screen. This started when windows idled and turned off my display but the screen wouldn't turn back on at all. I left it off after I went out this morning and now I don't even get a BIOS Screen. I updated my BIOS which did nothing and replaced all my Memory Sticks with a spare set which also did nothing. I have a number 65 on my LED lights along with the DRAM LED constantly lit. I don't know what's stopping my computer from giving me a display.

Solution
1. You have the RAM in the correct slots ?

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_2011/P9X79_DELUXE/#download

4 DIMMs:

Supports four (4) modules inserted into four:

blue slots(P9X79 series)
beige slots(TUF series)
red slots(ROG series)

as two pairs of Quad-channel memory configuration. Install the modules into slots A1/B1/C1/D1 for better compatibility.

2. Read the MoBo Manual or google post code 65 to see what the LED code means

Yep that worked. The motherboard setup guide said to put them in the black slots but apparently that's wrong. Put them in the right spot but now it won't go past the BIOS screen and now I have a boot device LED constantly lit. Man this computer loves messing with my emotions.
