Hi, every time i start up my pc it always comes up with "Limited or no connectivity" and comes up with my network and an "unidentified network" in the network and sharing center. I only have it connected to one network and that's my BT Homehub 2.0 router. It is connected directly through Ethernet. But when i click restart and wait for it to boot up it goes back to normal, showing one network and full internet access. As it should. Can you help me? It's just a pain to have to do this every time. In the device manager under network adapters it says "Atheros L1 Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000Base-T Controller". The rest of my specs are in my sig. Thanks in advance.

The computer only has 1 Ethernet port. No Modem cards or anything. It did have a wireless pci card which i took out a few weeks ago for complicated reasons (more just placement of our computers around the house)

How many computers are connected to the BT router? Are they all experiencing same issue? have you connected a different pc and did it encounter same issue?

Whats the OS and does it have the latest updates?

i might need those info but for the meantime, try setting up static ip on that computer with the routers ip for the Gateway address and DNS add.

Try to connect one of the 3 (wireless) working computer directly(using cable) to the router if possible and if they didnt encounter similar issue; most likely a driver update and OS update should fix your wired computers issue.

Guys, i have traced the issue back to uploads. When i try to upload a picture onto facebook or a file to sugarsync this problem occurs. Confirmed by the fact that when i did a speedtest it happened at the upload test. It can be fixed by clicking on the network logo in the taskbar and using the troubleshooter which says something about default gateways. Any ideas?
