can i run 2 gtx 460 sli on p67 ud4 (they will run at 8x not 16x )

does the pcie 8x differ alot from the pcie16x on sli in speed

Palit = terrible yet another thread on them posted in the last 24 hours lol.

Yes most boards support sli either through native support or through the hack. 8x by 8x sli is more than enough for two way sli for the majority of users.

I have the Palit 460 SOC and I love it. I'm about to add a second one for SLI since all the reviews and benchmarks are incredible for this particular card in SLI.

SOC???u mean GTX460 1gb SONIC??

Palit (named Digital Alliance here in my country) kinda let me down in terms of temperature...gotta admit that it's a great OCer...but the heat's killing the other component...the heatsink is just..............unbearable.............even replacing it with TT DuOrb doesn't fix the problem...

@TS - yes u can...keep in mind about heat and airflow...

you dont have to get the same brand. if going sli, get something with the best possible cooling, read some reviews. 2 cards so close together get really hot, particularly the top card. Lots of case exhaust fans is a must.
