Quick question about Ocing my Cpu

I have an amd x6 1055t 2.8ghz that i want to oc to 4.0 ghz. Question is do i keep it at that clock all the time even when im not doing cpu intensive work? Is there an option in the bios to oc it to 4 ghz while gaming but keep it at 2.8 when im just doing non intensive tasks?

- first whatta is your PSU enough power for OC ?
- Get Aftermarket Cooler for OC to 4Ghz : Noctua NHC /D -14 , Silver Arrow, H100, H80 etc
- you must have strong RAM ( Ram Ocable ) 1333mhz or above is better. Gskill Ripjaw / Vegeance Dual Channel
- you must Know Clear CMos when you get error :

good PSU HCG it very enough for OC, Clear Cmos is resetting bios to default with no issue.

yes ..if your OC stable and cool temperature below 55C when stress test use Prime95.
all overclocking need test stability minimum 4hours use Prime 95

good setting with according recommend by AMD 1.44-1.45v with max speed clock, ussualy phenom 1055T get 3.8ghz
