Hi I'm planning on building a PC and no matter what monitor I choose they all have 1366x768 native resolution, I'm not for the US by the way, I know there are cheap monitors there with better resolution.

I wanted to ask which is the better GPU that I can play at enthusiast settings on the most demanding game (Which I think is Crysis 2 or Metro 2033) at that resolution. I don't want to spend more money than I need to. I was thinking between the HD 5670, GeForce GTS 250, HD 5770, GTX 460 and HD 6850 (I got this from the tomshardware best PCIe card for the money  ). Now that the HD 6790 will be out it would be even better for my budget.

I can spend up to 180$ (the HD 6850's price). But as I said I don't want to kill an ant with a Bazuka. If I could play the most demading game maxed out at 1366x768 resolution with the HD 5670 I would be more than happy. Because if I get an item that costs below 100$ I don't pay taxes for importing to my country :D

I don't know how the 6790 will perform when it comes out or if it is worth waiting for. What i can tell you is that i have a gtx 460 768mb for my 1360x768 tv and it has been working great since i got it. It can run any current game on max settings except maybe metro 2033. Other than that it is a great card and would reccomend it

Thank you so much for your answer. What kind of games have you played? Have you played crysis maxed out without any problem? What kind of processor do you have? I'm planing on getting a Phenom II X4. Thanks in advance!

GTX460 can maxed out crysis2 without any problem at 1366x768.. It gives 30FPS at 1920x1200 with extreme quality..
