New build freezing and blue screens

Hello, i recently installed an asus m5a88-v evo mobo with an amd x6 1055t cpu and 8 gb of adata ddr3 ram...i did a fresh install of windows 7 and now i m getting constant freeze ups also whenever i try downloading patches for game such as rift i m getting blue screens ...i have done a memeory check and hard drive check and both came back clean ....whats a noob to do ?

Check your CPU heat sink for proper seating and make sure your CPU isn't overheating. Also remove and reinstall your RAM and make sure that it is seated all the way. Installation issues after a fresh install are the most common problem when things like this happen. Also check to make sure that you aren't grounding out any where.

I did a build once and couldn't get the system to post for two days, turned out the mobo add in sound card was loose and would contact the video card shorting out the entire system...

do you have the STOP code it's giving you (0x0040080, etc.) or the fault? (KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED, etc.)

Those go a long way in a diagnosis.
