PCIe x4 and PCIe x16

I have a Asus Rampage 3 Gene motherboard with a ATI 5950 video card.
the card is double slot and covers the x4 slot.
I bought a Revodrive 3 which is a x4 SSD so I am wondering if I can put this card in a x16 slot and it will work just fine?
or I need to move my card?

Depends - some MOBO's may not boot, by OCZ definition it's not a PCIe x16 slot. Below is the information for the REVODRIVE 3 AND REVODRIVE 3 X2.

The only official reference is BIOS v0901 requirement, and the following:
"Use any available PCIe x16 slot. Cannot use S3 Sleep Mode, system will hang on black screen and need to be power-cycled to work."

ASUS Rampage III GENE - http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1366/Rampage_III_GENE/#specifications
    2 x PCIe 2.0 x16 (dual x16)
    1 x PCIe x4
