Please Help! USB's Not Working, After Power Surge?

Alright guys, There was a storm here and a power surge, i know other places lost power but just my rig shut off? After messing around i finally got it back on, it kept turning on and turning off, no post. Finally it turned on and posted, but no USB's work. My deathadder wouldn't work, neither my keyboard. I used an old PS2 Cable that work and i set BIOS to defaults, it didn't help. Please help guys, I really need to get back up and running. Hopefully i dont have to buy a new board.

Also, When i used a keyboard to open the Razer Deathadder Driver, It said it couldn't find the mouse, and press ok to scan usb ports?

If the motherboard is still under warranty contact the manufacturer for a replacement. You may be able to get it repaired but a USB add-in card with front panel header(s) would be much cheaper.

I would try a new power supply first, it is much easier and cheaper to replace a power supply than a motherboard. Many local computer repair shops will let you try a power supply to see if this is the cause of the problem.

I've seen several failing PSU's cause the USB ports to act weird or stop working.

I know this might be something you've already done, but unplug ALL USB accessories, and power the computer up with just the old PS2 keyboard connected. After it's booted, plug in something that wasn't connected at the time of the storm, like a flash drive or something, and see if that works.
