Hello all,
I have a question and I can not find an answer.
Maybe you have the solution. :??:
this is a problem of reference DDR3 RAM

On a motherboard
Asus - 90-MIBHS0-G0EAY0DZ - P8Z77 V-PRO - ATX - Intel - Socket 1155

and a processor
Intel i5 3570-k

after having to look on the Asus site which was compatible ram memory
My choice is the Corsair Vengeance Series 8GB (2x 4GB) DDR3 1600 MHz CL9
(black color)
whose reference is:
Dual Channel Kit DDR3 PC12800 RAM - CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9
this ram is compatible.

But my problem is that in the series 1600 MHz CL9 Corsair Vengeance, there are several color:
Blue color reference:
Kit Dual Channel PC12800 DDR3 RAM - CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B

and red color Reference:
Kit Dual Channel PC12800 DDR3 RAM - CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9R

only the letter B or R is added at the end of the reference, but I do not know if it there are also compatible with the motherboard?

BLEU and RED are not in the list of compatible references:
http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1155/P8Z77-V_PRO/P8Z77-V-PRO-memory-QVL.pdf

Could you tell me if the blue or red model will be compatible as the original black model

Thanks you in advance for your help ;)

There's no reason either one (or any one) would not be compatible. While it's always nice to use the QVL to select memory, It's not really necessary unless you are populating all slots with the fastest RAM the board is designed for and overclocking. You should be fine with either choice you make... as long as the height of the sticks doesn't interfere with a CPU cooler.
