Need help for ASUS mobo GPU upgrade

HI guysss
i need your help here i have an asus p4p8x se mobo its an old mobo back from 2006 i think
I really want to play todays games like crysis minecraft that sort of thing but not battlefield3 or anything like that because oscourse it is imposible

So any recomendations of what GPU i should get and how much RAM do i need?

Not much you can do there, unfortunately. That motherboard only has an AGP slot, so that means that no GPU you can upgrade to will play current games very well (Crysis is basically as hard on a system as BF3, by the way).

Also, it's Socket 478, so not many CPU upgrade options either (none, certainly, that would be worth spending money on).

I'd say a totally new system (or at least a good bit newer than what you have) is your best bet.
