Dual monitor sound issues

I use dual monitors 22" and a 32" hdtv. I just recently upgraded from a 8800gt to a 5870 and I'm having problem with my sound setup. I use a sound card and an external speaker for my main monitor because it doesn't have a built in speakers and the problem is when I connect the hdtv for dual monitoring it is inputing sound to the hdtv and not my main monitor but when I remove the 2nd screen, the sound goes back to the speakers again. When I was using my 8800gt, the sound is always coming from my speakers dual monitor or not. Is this just how ati drivers work?

Nevermind, I just needed to change the settings and set it to default.
