LGA1155 will give you two PCIe 2.0 x8 lanes to use for multiple GPUs. That should be enough PCIe bandwidth to keep two GTX460s fed, but my guess is that in a generation or two, you'll need two PCIe 2.0 x16 or PCIe 3.0 x8 lanes to keep two modern GPUs fed with data. Your options are to get any decent LGA1155 board that has two PCIe x16 slots and use the two 460s but deal with probable multi-GPU bottlenecks in the future, get a platform that supports two or more PCIe x16 lanes (AM3/AM3+, LGA1366), or to swap those two GTX460s out for a single faster GPU like a GTX580 and give it the full PCIe 2.0 x16 bandwidth.

I'm building two computers, one for me and the other for my wife. I'm trying to make the build as good as possible without spending a ton of money.

So, would the motherboard mentioned above be a good one?

Its decent and does support sli cards from a spacing perspective. Depending on the cooler you use you may have a fitment problem with the tall heat spreaders on that ram.

Thanks for the replies everyone! So is there another board that you would sugest other than the one above?

I basically want this rig to run SW:ToR on max settings. From the looks of it, it's not going to be a very demanding game but I still want max everything on it.

Dude you're talking budget when you got 4x4GB sticks of Ram? I know I got 8GB of ram but it's only because it was relatively dirt cheap. I have NEVER seen a game that will hog up even close to 4GB of system RAM.

Yes that is a good mobo.

I actually went to 2 x 4gig sticks. =) So I have 8 gigs. I wanted to keep them around $1,600 each. I've ordered both of them for a combined price of $3,250 so they were 1,625 (computers that is)
