I have been able to successfully overclock (without much difficulty) my 6970's to 950/1450 with MSI afterburner. I want to go further; maybe to 1000mhz. My problem is that MSI Afterburner tops out at 950. What tool is there that can achieve this? I have already tried GPUTool. Is there anything else?

You can edit the files in afterburner to enable unsuported overclocking but would be doing so at your own risk. I think its just a case of changing a 0 to 1 in a file. If you look it up on the net im sure you will find the exact info. Never mind looking it up just go here.
