Hi,

I am planning to get a monitor. I have decided to get one of these two:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

or

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Here are my system specifications:

Phenom II x4 955 BE
ASUS M4N75TD
4GB DDR3 XMS3 1600 MHZ
Cooler Master Elite 430
ASUS Nvidia GTX 560Ti Direct CUII

Please suggest me which of these two monitors would be ideal for my system

I suggest you take the Samsung model. Its a good one apart from BENQ.
The reviews made by the buyers are also good when it comes to the SamSung model monitor. But since you have a 560 GTX Ti , it wouldn't hurt to get a better monitor, but if it suites your budget then its okay. The Samsung B2030 would be a nice choice.

but the thing is the samsung has a 1600x900 resolution. However, the Benq has a full HD 1920x1080 resolution. So why are you suggesting me to go with Samsung.

Try and find a 1920 x 1080 Samsung in your price range. They always look great.

The first one is better. Similar specs, but 1080 as you pointed out and has a better dot pitch. (pixels are closer together, which is a good thing.) Its out of stock, so you might need to find a similar one.

It is out of stock at newegg. I live in India so it is available here. I have checked it.

So now can you suggest me, should I still go with Samsung B2030 20" or Benq G2220HD 22" monitor

Then its okay, you can go for the BENQ 22'' monitor. Isn't a Samsung 22'' monitor available in Banglore ? I live in India as well. :D

samsung 22" monitors are costly over here. Benq and AOC are cheap and can be found at great deals.

Anyways, y do you prefer samsung. Isn't that Benq good enough to play games.

That is because I have never heard of BENQ, and also, since I am a Samsung owner myself, I prefer it over BENQ. Why not try Ebay or something else. If you prefer BENQ, then go for it, its okay.
