More about upgrading corsair vengeance
  1. Yes, it will be fine.

    Mobo req.
4 x 1.5V DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting up to 16 GB of system memory (Note 1)
    Dual channel memory architecture
    Support for DDR3 1800(O.C.) /1666/ 1333/1066 MHz memory modules
  2. I recommend CORSAIR Vengeance 99% of the time, quality RAM and low profile with XMP profile. And if u will get an aftermarket CPU cooler, low profile is the worry free remedy with perfect fit with any large cooler.

Vengeance Low Profile heat spreaders have a reduced height of 1.03" (26.25mm). They're designed for high-performance systems with extra-large CPU coolers, small form factor system builds, or any other space-constrained application where standard Vengeance memory might not fit.
  3. Thanks for the info, so u would recommend the ones with reduced height for more space for an aftermarket CPU cooler?
  4. Yes, as there is actually no need for heat spreaders at all.

The RAM runs cool, its not like DDR2 or DDR3 overclocked to 2400MHz : )
  5. Alright thanks for helping me out so quickly, will be buying soon a pair of those :)
  6. Cool : )
  7. Also take a look at this deal on SSD : )

    Less than a $1 per Gigabyte SSD deal : ) Vertex3
