Hey guys,
I am buying a total new system in a few days and i have been scanning the net about ram for IB and cant find anything about 1.35v sticks. ive seen alot about 1.5 and 1.65.

my question is, will i be able to use http://www.scan.co.uk/products/8gb-(2x4gb)-corsair-ddr3-vengeance-military-green-pc3-12800-(1600)-non-ecc-unbuffered-cas-9-9-9-24-x

?

the rig will consist of :

Intel i5 3570k
MSI HD6870 HAWK
RAM (Above Link)
Asrock Z77 Extreme4 ATX mobo
XFX Pro 550w 80+ Bronze PSU

is this ram ok? i am only getting it to match the gold and black theme of my components and case. the ram can be changed if necessary.

regards

technically using that voltage will void your warrenty. ram is so cheap these days just get 1.5v ram and be over with it. its one less thing to have to trouble shoot.

also why would you get those sticks anyway. they will cause heatsink clearance issues and i see you are getting the 3570k so i would assume youre getting a large heatsink.
