I7 960 + GTX 460 and Battlefield 3

Do you guys know if BF3 will be more CPU dependant than GPU? And how well do you estimate the i7 960 3.2 ghz and evga gtx 460 would run the game at 1600 by 900.

This is a guess because there's no official specs out. I'm guessing on the cpu side maybe a little more intensive than BFBC2. That said your chip should be plenty powerful to handle it. I doubt you'll be able to max it out with the GTX 460, maybe med high to high with no AA.

Again just a guess, time will tell.
