1st time build

Hello everyone.
I am looking to build a gaming computer that will play any game at the highest graphics settings.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Around December 2011

BUDGET RANGE: ~$2,500

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming, Internet Browsing

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: mouse, keyboard

PREFFERED WEBSITES FOR PARTS: Newegg.com although open to other sites

PARTS PREFFRENCES: Intel for CPU otherwise whatever is the best.

OVERCLOCKING: Eventually

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Eventually

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I'm also looking for a build that can be upgraded for several years to come if possible. This is my first build.

  1. Went top end across the board .....x16 x16 MoBo, 10,0 jonnyguru rated PSU, Twin 560 Ti (900MHz) get 862 fps in Guru3D test suite, twin 580's get just 10% more for an extra $560.

    49 fps in Metro 2033 at 1920 x 1200, high settings

    Total $2390 ...add $90 and get the 2600k combo if ya gonna use any apps that like hyperthreading.

  3. i dont understand why people wanna pay the premium for things like a 16x 16x motherboard. 2TB hard drive yea like you your gonna feel up a 1TB. cheaper cards like the gtx 560 when the hd6950 2GB are far sepurior to even sli gtx 570. the price premium for ocz vertex 3 when the corsair force 3 or ocz agility 3 are alot cheaper for the same perfomance. and the ugly df-85.
