Replace the motherboard. Recommend Gigabyte or Intel.

if you say turn off when you dont want to...download hardware monitor and watch your power supply voltages. if your trying to shut it down and in shuts down then resets it self..it a bug in the asus bios...clearing the bios with the jumper will fix it..there a few post about the issues on asus rog forum. if it the first issues as you did not post your power supply spec..it might be a cheap power supply that starting to fail.

Same kind of readings with my P8Z68-V LE. No answer for your problem though, although it could either be the mobo or PSU.

alright thanks... if theres anyway i can figure out which part is the problem that'd be nice.. i dont really know anyone that has pieces i could use to see which is the problem ><

it doesn't happen when im doing anything specific either

its happened while playing diablo III

its happened while nothing but spotify is running while im sleeping

i'd rather it be the power supply though.. feel like that would be easier to replace...
