Monitor turns Off after installing Radeon 4670

Hello,

I just bought Radeon 4670 to replace my Radeon 1650 XT..for a time everything seems to be okay, but then the problem occured.

My monitor sometimes (suddenly) turns off..everything else seems to be okay, my processor still running, VGA's Fan also running..only the monitor turns off and there's some buzzing sound out of the speaker..

the Symptoms quite random..sometimes I can use may computer normally, sometimes I use it for an hour or two and suddenly it turned off..

What Happen ? Please help Me

Here is my Spec :
- AMD Athlon 64 X2 +4800
- 4 GB RAM
- Win 7 Os
- PSU Acbel 470 Watt
- I'm still using a CRT monitor

can you turn the monitor back on, either straight away or after a decent amount of time for a cool down. or do you just shut off the pc when it happens...

is it an earth buzz coming from the speaker? or is it a high pitch whine?

yes..I can turn it back on straight away (I don't even have to wait wait for cooling down)..and that's what I usually do, and everything back to normal..

I don't think it's a high pitch whine one..

What could be the problem ?
