Hello,

I've assembled my new PC:

Intel i5 2500k
Gigabyte Z68A-D3-B3
Gigabyte GTX560-Ti
Corsair GS600 600W
Apacer DDR3-1333 4GB DIMM CL9 256*8 ROHS
SMG F3 500GB 3.5" SATA2 7200RPM 16MB

PC won't boot, it goes to the infamous boot cycle. I looked over troubleshooting guide and I encountered problem with RAM:
when I remove it there are long beeps ( I assume CPU, motherboard and PSU are OK?) but when I put it back – silence. According to guide, silence indicates that the RAM is shorting out the PSU (very rare) . What to do?

Thanks for reading

I've never heard of that RAM and in order to trouble shoot you need to try another ram stick and see if it boots. Is your ram 1x4GB or 2x 2GB? If it's 2x2GB try one stick at a time and see if only one is bad otherwise return the RAM and get a new stick.
