Motherboard crashing WhoCrashed reports

Tags:

Hi guys,

First off:

1. I tried to overclock, failed. Then noobishly tried to clean my case and parts, removed a massive bit of dust from the Intel stock heat sink. Then FORGOT to remove and reapply new grease. System was running at like 60c and then crashing.

2. Reset bios by removing the CMOS battery. Problems persisted. Realised my noobish ways and removed and reapplied Arctic 5 thermal paste.

2. Skip forward a couple of weeks, I have just installed a Enermax ETS-T40 CPU cooler with Arctic 5 paste. I have managed to game BF3 on full settings for about 20 minutes, system was at max 44 degrees C. Then all of a sudden the system crashed. I used WhoCrashed to see the problem.

3. Here are the results. See below for my system specs!

My system-

Mobo: Gigabyte P55-UD3 Rev 1.0.

RAM: Corsair XMS3 8GB@1666mhz

CPU: Intel i7 860@2.8ghz.

HDD: Western Digital Caviar black 500gb.

GPU: HD 6970

PSU: Antec TP-650W

My real question is, what is causing the problem? Is my motherboard fried?
