Hey there. I'm building a gaming rig at the moment, but i can't decide which video card should i get. The two cards are MSI GTX570 Twin Frozr II OC and ASUS EAH6970 DirectCU II. Here, the 6970 is 50$ cheaper than the GTX570. I was going to get the GTX570, since in every review i saw it beats every 6970 and it love the design personally, also if i understood correctly nvidia has better drivers at the moment. I'll be playin on 1680x1050 for a month or two and then i'll switch to 1920x1080, not planning two or more monitors setup and i'll overclock the hell out of the card. So, which one would you recommend to me? Is the difference in the fps worth the extra money?

Mostly mmorpg's in my free time, but when something new and good gets released (like Crysis 2, Call of Duty, Battlefield, RTS's and etc) i need to play it, so you can say that i'm playing everything. I'm looking for the better solution for a single monitor and in my eyes it's the 570, but i'm not sure if the few extra fps is really worth the extra cash. GTX570 has better tesselation, PhysX and better drivers, altho the 6970 has bigger memory. I guess i'm sticking with the MSI GTX570 Twin Frozr II OC : )

Both are great cards, GTX 570 is ahead slightly, but more expensive, chose one and enjoy, you cant go wrong!

if 6970 saves you that much cash then go for it, lately AMD drivers are really good, while there are complains about nVidia's.. and when you're going to switch to a bigger screen 6970 will be slightly better than 570 and can be OCed as much as 570 and has better cooling...
