Should I go for Athlon x4 or the Phenom x4

The only thing the phenom has different is because of it's L3 cache. What should I buy? I'm thinking of Athlon but please help me my friends ^_^

The L3 cache will boost the Phenom's performance, as will the unlocked multiplier of a Black Edition. I think they're priced similarly. Almost no reason not to go for the Phenom.

Well the phenom is a lot better but if you want it a lot cheaper go with the athlon but thats only if your on a true budget but if you not the phenom is a very good with its high cache or you could wait for bd or get a i5 2500k

The X4 955BE is on sale all the time at Newegg for $105, so there's no reason to go Athlon II.
