Nvidia geforce 315 m vs Ati radeon hd 5470

My father bought laptop with Nvidia Geforce 315m card and my has Ati Mobility Radeon hd 5470. Everythnig other is nearly totally same.

Which card better?

You are basically asking for the lesser of two fails. The 315m should generally be faster for gaming (assuming you have the GDDR3 model), but that's like saying you have a faster snail. The GDDR5 version of the 5470 may be a little faster, but again, faster snail.

If gaming is not the concern though I say the 5470 would be better for video acceleration (blu-ray) and quality.
