Antec's new modular HCG 550w reviewed

i recall antec mentioning they would release modular HCG units but looks like the guys across the pond got their hands on one for a review. other then a PR statement, antec has no info on their website for this unit. looks similar to the truepower new 550w (does not state the OEM in the review but my guess would be seasonic)

It looks like another Antec price-point PSU not worth buying based on the test results. Seasonic is a better choice even if it cost a little more.

Except for the larger modular board , it's a carbon copy of the TPN.
I'll wait for more reviews before passing judgement.

Apparently it is built by Seasonic, as are a lot of other Antec PSUs.

I agree with delluser; waiting for more tests as I'm not impressed by Bit-tech's review.
