What graphics card can i run in my system

I have a 500W psu/smps which have 28A +12V rating. I was wondering if I can run 5750 or 5770 graphics cards. currently i have core 2 duo processor with 2gb ram. but soon i will upgrade it to amd phenom x4 or x6 depending on cash. Also let me know which card's i can run using my psu.

I heard that older 9600GT and 9800GT s can work with my psu which required 26A rating. One of my friend is running 9600GT Amp with the same psu.

My PSU power ratings:-

+5V ---- 20A
+12V --- 28A
+3.3V -- 20A

Okay, with 28A on the 12v, you can run up to a GTX 460 or a hd6850. I would go hd6850. Newer tech, better tesselation, 2nd Gen DX11, etc. Just make sure you have a PCI-E slot and you will be golden!

ya...actually as for budget i selected that two cards.. and I am not an addictive gamer... ya but i will change my psu later....as for my requirements the 5770 fulfils my criteria........

ya the psu is a mid range psu i just wanted to know if i immediately need it to change.... thanx guys
