My boyfriend helped me put together a new computer consisting of : CPU INTEL|CORE I5 2400 MB ASROCK|H61M H61 VGA POWERCOLOR|AX6790 1GBD5-DH PSU ANTEC|BP500U 500W RT MEM 2Gx2|KST KVR1333D3K2/4GR and HD 500G|HITC SATA 3.0Gb/ However, when I got it all loaded up with windows & everything it started shutting down without any warning first it took 10 minutes form startup and then less than 5 minutes from startup. The BIOS screen says that the Processor temperature is 94 degrees Celsius and the 2nd temperature reading that follows says it's 32 degrees Celsius, is that normal? What can I do to stop it from overheating?
Check your Processor cooler fan is Running properly and provide good ventillation inside the CPU by arranging cables,
else change the Thermal paste applied for processor and heatsink with proper guidance
Normally you can allow temp upto 64,its best for your processor.....
